Orchestrating thoughts between a child and an absent father is very, very powerful. “Daddy, Can You Hear Me?” focuses on emotional communication, identity, and the human desire to feel seen, heard, and valued. This project explores the silent struggles many individuals face internally while encouraging resilience and self-expression.

 

This book was embraced by the incarcerated, which had the opportunity to read from it and send a copy home with a picture. This was organized through library systems nationwide as part of a “Read to Me” initiative.
